The Women of Orias I [Character Concepts]

Just some concept sketches for the character design of certain prominent women in the fantasy world of Orias. The Orias Epic is pretty much a gigantic side project that I have worked on for a year already during my free time. Orias is at it's very core a literary work as it started out that way. The art that I do for the story simply helps me focus and visualize the world, the characters and the events so as to aid me in writing better!

The Women of Orias I

Through sheer will and determination, the women of Orias have succeeded where many men could not. These women, some rebels and some paragons, are an inspiration to all.

Isabella - The Last Princess
"As long as I still draw breath, I will fight to reclaim my father's throne and right the wrongs that have been done!"

Eve - The Immortal Healer
"When you've been there and done that all, hardly anything surprises you anymore.."

Talia - The Hunter
"People hardly ever notice me and that is why I am the best at what I do."

Sasumi - The Prodigy
"Beat me? Hah! You'll never ever win against me!"

Kira - The Wild Spirit
"Run wild, run free and never let regret catch up."

Eris - The Pirate Queen
"I never planned to become the woman I am today, it just simply..happened rather spontaneously!"

Circe - The Flame of the Forest
"I am the fire of change and I will light the world ablaze!"

Nilith - The Vengeance
"I can never rest till my sister's killer is dead and gone."

So who's your favourite?

For me, it has and will always be Circe because she is the reason this whole story came into being in the first place! It all started with Circe!

Done with Adobe Photoshop CS6, 5 hours (mostly because I fooled around with the colors quite a bit haha!)
